If you’re looking to add some extra oomph to your home audio system, pairing two Amazon Echo Alexa speakers can help. By using the Alexa app on your phone, you can create a stereo pair and boost the sound quality of your music, videos, and other audio content. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open the Alexa app on your phone.
  2. Tap the three lines in the top left corner of the screen.
  3. Under “Settings,” tap “Devices.”
  4. Under “Alexa devices,” tap “Add new device.”
  5. Enter the Amazon Echo’s address (it will be something like “echo-a-lexa-1234567890”). Tap “Next.”
  6. Under “Type of device,” select “Stereo pair.” Tap “Next.”
  7. Enter your Amazon Echo’s password (it will be something like “echo”). Tap “Next.”
  8. On the next screen, you’ll be asked to choose which speaker you want to use as the left speaker and which speaker you want to use as the right speaker. Tap each one to choose it as your left and right speaker, respectively. Then tap OK to finish setting up your stereo pair! ..

Tap the “+” icon in the top-right corner.

Next, select “Set Up Audio System” in the pop-up window.

Choose the “Stereo Pair” option.

Select the two speakers you’d like to pair and then tap “Next.” Remember, the two speakers need to be of the same type.

Next, you’ll choose which speaker will be used for the left channel and which one will be used for the right. The app will automatically set the first speaker you selected as the left speaker. If you need to switch channels, simply tap “Swap Speakers.” Once done, tap “Next.”

Finally, you’ll choose a name for this pair. You can choose from the list of common names, or scroll to the bottom to create your own. Tap “Save” and you’re done!

Select the speaker group you’d like to separate.

You’ll see the speakers making up this pair. When you’ve confirmed you want to separate them, tap “Unpair.”

A pop-up message will appear asking you to confirm. Tap “Unpair” for a second time.
